What unites these materials is the blue color, which ranges from light blue to dark blue, with shades and veins that vary significantly from one to the other.
Azul Boquira is a blue quartzite whose background presents elegant shades and gold and beige veins that derive from the great variety of minerals present within it.
It has a cloudy structure which makes it particularly suitable for large spaces. From the point of view of the technical characteristics, it is a material with considerable durability and resistance to stress and atmospheric agents.
Quartzites such as Azul Boquira are rocks that have the characteristics of greater resistance to compression and abrasion. This material is therefore ideal for indoor environments to create floors, walls, stairs, shower trays and furnishings. External finishing can also be done with this material.
Azul Macaubas was originally a quartz-rich sandstone which over the years has transformed into a quartzite with completely different properties.
In addition to quartz, which is its main component, this stone also contains dumortierite which is a very rare blue mineral with blue and purple reflections that create a truly original and refined effect of needles and fibrous masses.
This material is also very resistant, hard and can be used in all environments. Being very valuable and expensive, the uses are above all internal, from floors to coverings, decorations and furnishing accessories.
Azul Bahia is a medium-small grain granite, with a very lively blue color and a cloudy structure. It is mainly formed by quartz and feldspar, and therefore it is a hard stone and very resistant to abrasion and compression.
What makes this material special is the uniqueness of each slab, different from the others in terms of nuances and structure, which makes it almost as precious as a work of art.
The most commonly used finishes on these materials are polishing, which enhances their properties, brightness and shine, or sanding, brushing, sandblasting and bush-hammering.
For “routine” cleaning and maintenance, even though these are particularly durable and resistant materials, it is advisable to pay some attention as they are extremely precious: it is better to use products dissolved in water such as alcohol and Chanteclair and in any case it is necessary to avoid the use of abrasive products.
