So what are the best marble or stone materials for a home?
First of all, it is necessary to consider the intended use of the house: what is its use?
Does the house belong to a large family, a young couple or a single person? Furthermore, its location must be taken into account: whether this is in the city or in the countryside and the style to be adopted.
The choice of materials for homes located in historic centers and with a more classic imprint often falls on precious marbles such as Bianco di Carrara marble, Calacatta marble and Statuario Venato or on Botticino and Classic Travertine, Walnut or Persian Travertine.
In the case of rustic country homes or even those of contemporary design, the stones we most often recommend to our customers are Quartzites, in various shades (Grey, Autumn Brown, Mint) with a flamed and brushed finish, Grigio Fossena, Bianco Perlino or the Thala Beige.
In the range of materials suitable for all solutions there are also various granites, including Indian and Brazilian granites with veins similar to marble such as Sivakashi, Sivakashi Light and Juparanà India. These are very resistant and long-lasting materials, which do not require particular precautions for their maintenance and cleaning and which are therefore indicated where the foot traffic is more intense.
